Carnival in Bagno a Ripoli

It was loud, colorful, and a little chaotic — exactly how a children’s carnival should be. Costumes everywhere, confetti in the air, parents running behind tiny superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, and whatever else their imagination allowed.

I walked through it all trying to keep up, catching the quick smiles, the shy poses, the proud costumes, and the kind of joy that doesn’t last long but stays bright in photos.
